The same information for multiple images
In order to reach this option, one must first search
for images to edit. On that form click the choice "same
info for each"
This form is a powerful tool, but it should be used with caution.
As the name suggests, it is used to input the same information for
multiple images. The reason for caution is that with the other two
image editing forms one can see right away what information is being
overwritten by new data. That is not the case with this form. Simply
leaving a text box blank will not solve the problem either since
a blank text box will also overwrite “nothing” in the
place of whatever previously existed. The trick is to use the preferences
to select only the fields which are you wish to work with. Information
hidden by the preferences will not overwrite existing data.
Please note that regardless of how many images “search
for images to edit” finds, Update multiple will
only effect those images currently visible on the form.
