The add images page
On a Windows your images might be in a folder called “my images”. On a Mac they might be in a folder called Pictures or iPhoto Library. If the folder containing your images is in an out of the way place, you might want to move the images to an easy to find place on your computer and then upload them from there.

During the upload

Having many image sizes allows greater flexibility in the presentation. The sizes are:

• largest dimension 72 pixels,
• largest dimension 144 pixels,
• largest dimension 200 pixels,
• largest dimension 350 pixels,
• largest dimension slected by user 650 - 3000 pixels

In addition to uploading the image, some information about the image is loaded into a database
The following information is stored in the database: image type, image orientation (i.e. horizontal or vertical) image size, location of image, name of image file, a preliminary title (the image name is used as the title)

Once the image is uploaded
When the upload is complete you will see a thumbnail of the image that has a link "edit this image"
